Per new Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines, all municipalities are required to compose a water service line inventory and are requesting your help in identifying the material type of the water service line as it enters your home or business. The inventory will provide information about the locations of service lines that may contribute to elevated levels of lead in the water allowing your community to comply with the EPA’s guidelines.

Click here for more information and instructions on how to locate the water service line where it enters your home at the water meter, perform the test on the water pipe on the service line side of the meter, identify the type of line and return the test results to your water district.   The test should take less than 30 minutes.
